Water on Mars!

Hello astronomers!

According to NASA, Earth no longer hold can receive the long standing honor of the only planet with water! Yesterday, NASA scientists announced that not only frozen water, but liquid salty water, like our oceans, has been discovered on the red planet! Why is this important? Well water means that life is possible, so what do you think? Is there life on Mars? Check out the video for more information!

What is cabbage? Well it is a green or red plant that looks similar to lettuce, however, the leaves found in on themselves to make a nice "head" that you can eat many different ways. Last year, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders were challenged to grow the largest cabbage from a little seedling. Mitchell was our school winner with a cabbage weighing in at 15 pounds! Way to go Mitchell! He has been entered to win a $1,000 scholarship!

Mitchell's cabbage weighed in at a whopping 14 pounds!

I decided to grown one too! Check out how enormous it got to be! Yummy!

Mine got eaten before I weighted it... :(

Check out our other master cabbage growers!....
